How can you reach ThunChat support?

The support address is [email protected]. It is the right place for account questions, coin purchases, reports that need more detail than the in-app button allows, and anything else that is not working. Write from an address you can check, because that is where the reply goes.

To help us answer quickly, include the device and browser you use, roughly when the problem happened, and what you expected to see. For a purchase, add the date and amount. Please do not send passwords or full card numbers; we will never ask for them.

What should you try before writing to us?

Reload the page and check your browser’s camera and microphone permissions first. Most problems people write in about turn out to be one of those two, and both take less than a minute to fix. Here are the four we see most often, plus one more.

  • Black screen or no camera: allow the camera for thunchat.com in your browser’s site settings, close other apps using it, then reload.
  • They cannot hear you: allow the microphone, check you are not muted at system level, and try earphones.
  • Stuck on matching: reload the match screen. At quiet times a match can take a little longer.
  • Page looks broken: update your browser, or try another one. ThunChat works in current Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox.
  • Coins not showing: wait a minute and reload. If they are still missing, email us with the purchase date.

What is the fastest way to report someone?

For most problems with another person, end the chat with Next, then use report or block on their profile. That is the fastest route. If something serious happened, also email us with what happened and when. The safety page explains what is worth reporting.

What happens after you email

A person on the support team reads it and replies to the address you wrote from. If we need more details, we ask for them rather than guess. For purchase problems, having the date and amount ready speeds things up a lot, and a screenshot of the receipt is even better.

We will never ask for your password, your full card number or a code sent to your phone. Anyone claiming to be ThunChat support who does is not us, and that is worth reporting too.

What do people usually ask about?

Coins, free matches and camera permissions, roughly in that order. Most of those are answered on how ThunChat works, including how free matches, the Reward Center and coins fit together, so it is worth a quick look before you send an email.

For advice on switching between camera and voice, see random voice chat. If the problem has gone away by now, the match screen is one tap from the home page. Curious who runs the site? The about page has that.
